It’s finally summer, and that means that it’s barbecue season! Nothing pleases crowds quite like a classic! Our favorite classic? BURGERS, of course! We’ve recently started hand-pattying our very own Veggie Wagon burgers! Our burgers are made with ground chuck and are a 90/10 ratio! In addition to our delicious classic burger, we’ve also got four fantastic other kinds of burgers for you to try (and love)! Our Devil’s Dust burger is deliciously hot. It’s got just the right amount of spice to make you feel it without setting your mouth on fire! Then come our Greek Feta and Island Jerk burgers. Both of them pack an exotic punch that is sure to spice up any cookout. Finally, our good ole Gouda Pimento burger. With this guy, we combine a southern classic with our classic burger to make a bangin’ burger!

Serve our hand pattied burgers on their own, with cheese, or piled with all of your favorite toppings! Check out the recipe below for one of our favorite ways to eat our burgers!

The Veggie Wagon’s Boursin Burger

INGREDIENTS (for one burger):

-Veggie Wagon Classic or Devil’s Dust burger (depending on how much spice you’d like!)

-1/2 white or yellow onion

-1 Sweet and Savory Kaiser Roll

-A healthy spread of The Veggie Wagon’s Herbed Boursin Cheese

1. Chop your onion roughly.

2. In a large skillet or frying pan, pour in about a quarter cup of olive oil and turn the stove on to high heat. When the oil is glistening, put the onion in the pan.

3. Cook the onion until soft and almost translucent, caramelized.

4. On a grill or in a cast iron skillet, cook your Veggie Wagon burger to your preferred temperature.

5. Butter both halves of the Kaiser Roll, and place buttered-side down into a pan or skillet or onto a grill to toast.

6. Assemble your burger: Patty first onto the bun.

7. Next, some of The Veggie Wagon’s Herbed Boursin, either onto the Kaiser roll’s top half, or onto the burger itself.

8. On top of the Boursin, place a good helping of your caramelized onions.

9. Serve with french fries or a fresh summer salad, and enjoy!
