Garlic and Romano Turnip Raab


Coat a large saute pan with olive oil. Add the chopped garlic and crushed red pepper and bring to medium heat. Once the garlic is browned,  add the turnip raab and toss around in the oil and garlic mixture to coat it. Then add your white wine or broth. Cover with a lid and steam it for about 8-10 minutes. Top with grated Redneck Romano if desired, before serving.


  • Sea Salt to Taste
  • 1 bunch turnip raab, tough, non-leafy stems removed
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
  • Pinch crushed Veggie Wagon's Devil's Dust
  • 3 tablespoons of grated Redneck Romano Cheese (sold at The Veggie Wagon)
