Herb-Flavored Corn on the Cob

  1. Pull down the husks of each ear of corn, but don’t remove them. Remove and discard the silk. Very lightly rub each ear with the oil, then lightly spread soft butter and sprinkle with dill. Replace the husks, making sure that all the corn kernels are covered. If necessary, secure the husks with damp kitchen string.
  2. Prepare an outdoor grill. When the coals are hot, place the ears around the edge of the grill about 5 inches from the hottest coals. Grill for about 20minutes, flipping the ears occasionally, until cooked through.

  • 8 ears of corn
  • ¼ tsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. dill weed
  • Softened butter
